The original boot floor was made of 6mm plywood but moisture had made it de-laminate and collapse.
New floor panels for both the spare wheel cover and the petrol tank cover were cut out of 9mm plywood. The old parts were used as templates and the old spring clips were re-used by drilling out the rivets and reattaching them with c-sunk screws. A coat of matt varnish was used to finish the wood.
