Hoggin' the Bridge 2014.

Following the enjoyment of the 2013 Hoggin' the Bridge event, we rolled up again in 2014; this time with a home made sidecar attached to the BMW.

The 30 mile round trip and fine weather provided the perfect road test for the sidecar (and practice for the pilot).

Some of the bikes gathered at the start of the 2014 event.

We arrived early to get somewhere near the front of the convoy  and to allow time for a bacon roll breakfast.

Among the interesting bikes and trikes parked up were a 6 cylinder Benelli, a BMW 90S (in burnt orange) and numerous custom choppers.
There were a few other sidecars too!

The BMW sidecar attracted a reasonable level of interest from the other bikers.

Junior Riding in the Sidecar
The rally followed the usual route through villages back to Chepstow racecourse for the finish.
Despite the menacing look of some of the riders, high fives were gladly given out to many of the crowd

High Fives
The racecourse staged a bike show and laid on music and food for all the riders.

One of the best bikes in the event was this sidecar combination with shower attachment, difficult to beat that.
